Synopsis

Vee trains to become a countess after learning she is the heir to spookelton castle in Transylvania.

Plot

As Vampirina is provided food by Oxana, Boris, and Chef Remy Bones, Boris states that he and Oxana received news that Vampirina has been selected as the next Countess of Spookleton Castle. Oxana mentions that Uncle Deiter comes from a long line of counts and countesses, and he named Vampirina as heir. Demi mentions that there will be a ceremony at the castle. Vampirina is excited about it. Oxana mentions that all countesses have to pass a vampire countess test. Everyone will help Vampirina with it, as well as Poppy and Bridget, who are excited about it, as well.

The practice then begins outside, with Demi trying to calm Wolfie down and Gregoria doing the trick. Vampirina tries to do the same thing with some success. Vampirina is unsure if she'll be a countess, but Boris, Poppy, and Bridget motivate her. The Hauntleys then leave for the castle.

Once there, they are greeted by Madame Spook, who escorts Vampirina to her test. Spook also teleports herself to the other side of the room, which Vampirina assumes is a part of the test. Vampirina then starts the test while everyone else leaves. Demi and Gregoria decide to stay to support Vampirina, who begins the first part of the test, which is to demonstrate how she handles a broom with ghoulness and grace. So far, she does well, only for Spook to tell her that countesses float instead of zoom. Next up is monster music. Vampirina then plays the instruments, and mentions her band, the Ghoul Girls. However, Spook states that most countesses play the haunted harp. Vampirina gives it a try, only for all the strings to break, which Spook describes as very different, as her countesses usually stick to tradition. Since Vampirina passed each task, but differently, she passed the test. She vows to be the only countess in Pennsylvania, but it means that she and her family will live in Transylvania now, and she will be a countess forever.

Later, Vampirina introduces herself as a countess to everyone, who takes their seats as Spook escorts Vampirina in. Spook mentions that once Vampirina is a countess, she's always a countess, no matter what. Vampirina then walks down the isle with everyone applauding, and Spook introduces her to the audience. As the crown lowers, Vampirina suddenly turns into a bat and states that she doesn't want to be a countess for now, as she's barely two centuries old, and she doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up yet. Vampirina mentions the many things she could be in the future before turning down becoming a countess. Spook is supportive, as Vampirina does things a bit differently, and that's a good thing. There is always a place for her at Spookleton, and she will let her know if she changes her mind. Vampirina will be spooktacular, whatever she becomes. She then tells everyone about it, and the Hauntleys are proud of it. Vampirina decides that for now, she will be herself.
