"Gloommates" is the 2nd Segment of the 29th Episode of the 2nd Season of Disney Junior's and Brown Bag Films' "Vampirina". It's premiered on February 22nd, 2019, alongside with the 1st Segment "Baby Dragon".[1] SynopsisWhen the Hauntley house becomes infested with Charmer bugs, Edna insists the entire family stay with her while the house is being fumigated.[2] PlotPoppy and Bridget tell Vampirina about playing badminton, and Vampirina calls it "bat-minton". In the game, the first human to catch the shuttle-shriek wins. It takes some real bat-robatics to do so. Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget follow it to the Scare B&B when charmers escape from their nest. Later, Vampirina tells Gregoria and Demi what she was playing. Just then, the charmers lift up Demi's chair and take it away. Oxana and Boris' chairs are also going through the same thing. Demi finds the charmers lifting the chairs. Gregoria states that charmers cause all sorts of pesky magic to happen. Oxana and Boris decide to call an exterminator. Later, Oxana reveals to everyone that she called the Skelenator, the most highly recommended exterminator on the World Wide Cobweb. The Skelenator tells everyone about the charmers and thanks them for calling him. Charmers like to hide in old magical stuff, and must have stowed away in the Hauntleys' junk when they moved from Transylvania. The Skelenator can round the charmers up for the Hauntleys, but he'll have to tent the house and use some magic to get the charmers back in their nest. The Hauntleys will need to be out for two days, as the de-spooking stuff the Skelenator uses is bad for monsters to breathe. The Hauntleys wonder where they will stay when Edna shows up. Vampirina tells her about the charmers. Edna tells the Hauntleys that they can stay with her. The Hauntleys eventually agree, although Vampirina is unsure how Edna is going to feel about everyone at the Scare B&B staying over. At Poppy's house, Vampirina places Harold under a bed. She states that all of the monsters will be hid by the time Edna and Edgar return from the store. Vampirina and Poppy will put each monster out of sight, as her family is pretty good at hiding monster stuff from the Peeplesons. Soon, all the monsters are hidden from sight just as Edgar and Edna arrive. Penelope appears and Poppy quickly puts it out of sight. Vampirina claims that she and Poppy were getting some extra blankets before both leave. Meanwhile, Demi and Gregoria are practicing their hiding skills when Edna waters the plants. A leaf falls on Gregoria, causing her to sneeze, but she still stays hidden when crows surround her. Meanwhile, the Hauntleys are doing the dishes and Oxana thanks Edna for making lunch. Edna brings a box from the attic, and states that they will use the fancy plates tonight in honor of the Hauntleys. When the box is opened, a plant inside it sings, and Vampirina quickly closes it. Boris claims he was the one singing, as he was trying out for a big part in a local play. So far, the Hauntleys are doing great, but when Edna arrives, Boris, Demi, and Gregoria quickly hide. Edna states that six people doesn't sound like a lot until everybody is all under one roof. After Edna leaves, Vampirina states that the Hauntleys were so worried about keeping everyone hidden, they didn't realize that they might be getting in the way. To make it up to the Peeplesons, Vampirina has an idea for a Peepleson-Hauntley game night. Vampirina finds Poppy while Demi and Gregoria return to hiding. Vampirina practices her roaring skills when she knocks over a plant vase. Edgar gets the extra-strength carpet cleaner in the upstairs bathroom, where Demi is hiding. When Edgar arrives, he thinks he sees a ghost, and Demi is hiding in the pipe, causing it to break and the water to run loose. Edgar heads back downstairs before Edna sees the rushing water. Vampirina states that no one would be taking a bubble bath, and Boris and Oxana will find out what went wrong. Later, when Boris fixes the pipe, Edgar claims he saw a ghost, and Boris claims it was the rubber ghost that clogged the pipe earlier. Edna thanks the Hauntleys for fixing the burst pipe, as that is what neighbors and friends are for. As for the water damage, the Hauntleys decide to help by inviting the Peeplesons over to the Scare B&B. With all the charmers gone, Vampirina states that neighbors take care of each other. Edna thanks the Hauntleys for recommending a team to fix the Peeplesons' house, which is revealed to be the monsters themselves, led by Gregoria and Demi. CharactersMain Characters
