Synopis

When Poppy can't stop sneezing during Ghoul Girls practice, Octo, a B&B guest, offers to fill in.

Plot

The Ghoul Girls are ready for another performance with Edgar testing camera angles. They can't debut the video until they get the song just right. As the performance is about to begin, Poppy starts sneezing. She needs Transylvanian Tea, but when Vampirina heads to Oxana and Boris, they mention that the magic used to wash the dishes is for their latest guest, which is a kraken. Oxana explains what a kraken is, and one appears and introduces himself as Octo. He knows the Ghoul Girls from the group playing the Octopus's Garden in Transylvania. Octo states that krakens are more monstery and bigger than octopi. Octo is not big, and mentions she came to the Scare B&B because it is a perfect place for music. Octo decides to check out the band practice when Poppy continues to sneeze. She decides to go home and rest while Octo fills in.

During practice, Octo masters the drums, impressing everyone. Edgar decides to add more instruments for Octo to play. The performance starts with Edgar recording. Later, he shows Poppy how great Octo is. While Poppy continues to rest, the practice continues with Octo playing the instruments loudly. Edgar thinks it was epic and decides for more drums, which Demi brings out. Poppy then sees how great Octo is, and practices the drums like Octo does, but struggles because she has two arms. She tries to use her feet but struggles. Poppy decides to keep trying.

Edgar is ready to film the music video and Octo can't wait for the performance when Poppy returns. Edgar tells her what to do, and Poppy joins in on the performance. However, Poppy struggles, so she pretends she's sick. Poppy then heads home while Octo fills in for her again. Demi assures Poppy will be better in no time, and Vampirina and Bridget decide to check on her. Poppy is practicing basketball, as she didn't think they needed her. Poppy tried to play like Octo, but she couldn't, and decides to leave. However, Vampirina and Bridget tell her to stay, as Octo's drums are too much. Vampirina tells Poppy that being a good drummer is about playing with her own drums. Vampirina and Bridget would never replace Poppy, as she's their best friend.

Vampirina then realizes that Octo worked hard on adding the drums, and hopes he won't be disappointed about Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget going back to playing them the Ghoul Girls way. Later, Octo understands and is relieved. He thinks Poppy is a great drummer and he's not used to being in a band. Poppy and Octo decide to teach each other how to play the drums, and Edgar arrives, wishing there was some way Octo's cool tentacles can be shown. The Ghoul Girls then perform the song about being in things together no matter how hard things get and Poppy being their best ghoul. Poppy then signs all of Octo's drumsticks, and she and Vampirina are glad to have the band back togther. Octo then gives everyone a hug.
