"TNN" is the 2nd Segment of the 27th Episode of the 2nd Season of Disney Junior's and Brown Bag Films' "Vampirina". It's premiered on January 11th, 2019, alongside with the 1st Segment "The Woodsie Way".[1] SynopsisOne of Vee’s oldest friends from Transylvania, Frankie Bolt, comes to visit her in Pennsylvania.[2] PlotVampirina decides for her, Poppy, and Bridget to watch the movie Vampablanca when an email from Frankie Bolt, Vampirina's oldest friend from Transylvania, appears. It states that Frankie will be visiting Pennsylvania soon. Bridget likes it and Vampirina mentions what she and Frankie did in the past. Frankie's mom is dropping her off tomorrow. Later, the Hauntleys are preparing the Scare B&B for Frankie's arrival. A few moments later, Frankie appears and is delighted to see Vampirina and the Hauntleys. Frankie came to Pennsylvania because she recently became a Junior Reporter like her dad, Franken Bolt, and is doing a special report on life in Pennsylvania for TNN, short for the Transylvania News Network. Demi then copies Franken's speeches, as he is his biggest fan. Vampirina is excited for Frankie, and Oxana and Boris will get the guest room all ready so Frankie can film her news reports from there. Vampirina tells Frankie that it took her a while for her to get used to life in Pennsylvania, thanks to Poppy and Bridget, who then arrive and introduce themselves to her. Vampirina states that it is okay for Frankie to head to school, so she can get the full Pennsylvania experience. Frankie then heads upstairs to film the first part of her news report. She then practices her report before heading to school with Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget. Once inside, Mr. Gore introduces the class to Frankie when a spider lands on him. Frankie reports on it, and it is later revealed that Edgar got the spider. Poppy shows off her butterfly mask, and Edgar is then shown as a werewolf to scare others. Frankie reports on that, as well. Later, Vampirina and her friends eat some chocolate eyeballs. Edgar then arrives, wanting to see Night of the Cursed Mummy, which is about an evil mummy who haunts a bunch of archeologists when they get trapped in a pyramid, on Friday. After Vampirina, Poppy, Bridget, and Edgar leave, Frankie reports why mummies are so scary and humans don't get along with monsters at all. Frankie later tells Vampirina that hanging out with humans will make a scary good story for her first piece as a Junior Reporter. Later, in the Scare B&B, the Hauntleys watch Franken's report on the Transylvania News Network's evening news. Frankie reports what she did earlier today, and questions if humans and monsters can be friends. After saying that it won't happen, the Hauntleys are surprised about it. Vampirina decides to stop Frankie's next report before she says anything worse. However, Frankie finishes her report when Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget arrive. Frankie states that humans being scared by monsters is the truth, but Bridget states that humans can get scared sometimes. However, being scared never kept her and Poppy from being friends with Demi, Gregoria, and Vampirina. Frankie was so set on filming stuff at school that matched what she heard back home, she missed a monster/human friendship that was right in front of her the whole time, like going to school, eating chocolate eyeballs, and watching a movie together. While Frankie checks her sources, Vampirina sings about never judging spell books by their covers, and that the magic inside is what's counts. If Frankie takes a closer look, she can make a monsterific friend. It took some getting used to, Poppy and Bridget knew that even though Vampirina is a monster, she's still herself. Bridget isn't scared at all, and she, Vampirina, and Poppy do everything together. Frankie apologizes, and decides to take a chance on being friends with a human. Vampirina takes a picture of Frankie, Poppy, and Bridget, and when Frankie comes back, she may meet even more humans. Later, the Hauntleys watch the Transylvania News Network and Frankie's follow-up report is an apology; although humans may be a little jumpy, but it doesn't mean they can't be friends with monsters, and she made friends with Poppy and Bridget. She concludes that everyone in Transylvania should try meeting a human one day. Franken concludes that humans and monsters can be friends. Poppy hopes the report will change everyone's mind and maybe more monsters will give humans a chance. This is because being friends with humans is the best, and that's the truth.
