"The Haunted Theater" is the 2nd Segment of the 39th Episode of the 2nd Season of Disney Junior's and Brown Bag Films' "Vampirina". It's premiered on August 16th, 2019, alongside with the 1st Segment "Bat Got Your Tongue".[1] SynopsisVampirina and her friends meet Sir Ghoulgood, a friendly, but dramatic ghost, on a field trip to a haunted theater.[2] PlotAt school, Mr. Gore tells the class that because they've been doing so well learning about plays this week, they'll go on a field trip to their very own local theater, The Firefly. Edgar states that the Firefly Theatre is haunted, and mentions what it contains. Bridget is scared, and Edgar plans to investigate them for his web show. Vampirina thought her house was the only haunted place in town, but Edgar loves to think everything is haunted. Once the class arrives, Edgar starts filming, but notices the theatre shutting down, to which Mr. Gore states that it will close for good this week, and they will be the final tour. This is because The Firefly hasn't had a performer for years, due to a rumor that the theatre is too spooky to visit. Vampirina thinks it's beautiful, and the class begins the tour of the theatre. As Edgar goes to the orchestra section, Demi is told by Vampirina to watch out for Edgar before the class continues to explore. Bridget wonders if the theatre is haunted, but Demi assures it is not. They then come across Sir Ghoulgood, theatre enthusiast and resident of The Firefly, and introduce themselves. Vampirina mentions about the theatre closing, and Ghoulgood apologizes as he is the one who scared everyone away, leading to the theatre about to close. He mentions that everyone likes him when he does what he does at center stage. Ghoulgood decides to leave forever, and Vampirina decides for her friends to help him by convincing everyone that the theatre is not really haunted, even though it is. Ghoulgood thanks Vampirina for it, and they'll start with Edgar. Vampirina tells him what the spooky sounds he heard earlier were, and after Edgar investigates, he decides to find some more ghosts. Demi praises Ghoulgood's voice, and Ghoulgood turns invisible to make it look like the piano is playing itself. With Edgar returning, he wonders if it was a ghost playing the piano, and Vampirina and Poppy mention how the piano plays itself. Edgar then resumes looking for the ghost, and Ghoulgood thanks everyone for the help. They then head to center stage, Ghoulgood's favorite place in the theatre. Edgar spots Ghoulgood and records it, but needs better proof for his viewers. Ghoulgood is scared about being seen, and Vampirina decides for her friends to make Edgar think he saw a ghost. They'll use special effects, like a spotlight to shine light to make it look like Ghoulgood is on stage. Once the spotlights are activated, Edgar thinks they are ghosts and goes to record them when Vampirina appears, telling Edgar how cool the spotlights are. It works, as Edgar doesn't think the theatre is haunted at all. However, the whole town still believes The Firefly is spooky, so Vampirina decides to convince them to help, with help from Edgar. He sees that the theatre is not haunted but he made a cool video about it. When Mr. Gore's class, Edgar tells him that The Firefly isn't haunted, and Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget decide to perform at the theatre.
