"The Woodsie Way" is the 1st Segment of the 27th Episode of the 2nd Season of Disney Junior's and Brown Bag Films' "Vampirina". It's premiered on January 11th, 2019, alongside with the 2nd Segment "TNN".[1] SynopsisVee and her friends go on their first hiking trip with the Woodchuck Woodsies.[2] PlotVampirina, Poppy, and Bridget are preparing for the Woodchuck Woodsie camping trip. Demi decides to be the chaperone for the trip. Vampirina states that Demi used to come along on all of her trips back in Transylvania. Demi states that he has everything prepared for the trip. Vampirina states that she has a sleeping bag and a tent, which is how Woodchuck Woodsies do it, and she will do the trip the Woodsie Way. Vampirina vows to not turn into a bat at all when she does so anyway to get it out of her system. She mentions that her gear is everything she needs, and sings about how easy earning her Woodsie badge will be for her while wondering how hard being human could be. The Woodchuck Woodsies then set up their tent and Edna is impressed by it. So far, Vampirina is doing great as she gets the Woodise "Whoo Whoo" right off the bat. Demi is preparing some cocoa, and Vampirina tells him that Woodsies don't use cauldrons when Edna calls the Woodsies for the hike. Vampirina decides to lead the hike. She picks the trail that will lead right to Silver Spring Falls. The Woodsies then go on the hike. Soon, they arrive at the first landmark, which is a dead tree. It is easy to remember, so the Woodsies will look for it on the way back tso they know which way to go. They then take a water break, and Demi appears, stating that he is loving the hike. The Woodsies then head to a blocked trail, and Demi suggests getting over the log with spells when Vampirina reminds him about no floating charms in front of the Woodsies. Vampirina decides to get over the log with her Woodsie skills, and the others do the same. Vampirina then gives everyone Monster-licious Trail Mix. Poppy and Bridget are impressed, and Vampirina assumes that doing things the Woodsie Way is going pretty well. The hike resumes, and Vampirina is unsure of where she should go. Demi suggests the magic map, but Vampirina states that if she uses magic, she wouldn't be using her Woodsie skills. Demi then quickly revises the magic map, which was on Transylvania settings. Vampirina then leads everyone to the waterfall. They come across the bridge, and Edna thinks it's fine when it starts breaking apart. The Woodsies decide to make stepping stones to no avail. Edna tells them to remain calm in an emergency. A frog appears and it is at that point when Vampirina regrets leading everyone the wrong way. After Poppy and Bridget mention it, Vampirina decides to use the spell book to save Edna. Poppy and Bridget will get all the rocks they can find. Demi distracts everyone with bats while Vampirina gathers more bats. She then recites the magic spell to make the rocks float on the river so that Edna can head back to shore. Edna thanks the Woodsies for all their help, and they all head back to camp by first heading to the spooky tree. Once at the camp, Edna gives Hiking badges, to Bridget, Poppy, Renee, and Tiffany. As for Vampirina, Edna tells her that fixing mistakes is what being a Woodsie is all about. Vampirina has earned the Emergency Badge. The Woodsies then get smores. Later, Vampirina tells Poppy and Bridget in a tent that it was definitely a Woodsie camping trip to remember. Poppy and Bridget knew Vampirina could do it the Woodsie way as long as she did it her way, too. Demi gives Vampirina the enchanted nightlight, and she releases the lights.
